Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

What is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)?

CBT is one of the evidence-based interventions that promote positive neuroplastic changes in the brain and is increasingly used in treating various mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety. It can harness the brain's natural ability to rewire itself in response to new experiences and learning.

CBT helps individuals identify and challenge distorted thought patterns and develop healthier behaviours and coping mechanisms. It encourages cognitive restructuring, which can lead to changes in neural pathways associated with negative thinking and emotional regulation.
